By chance discovered, but evidently well-known and loved by locals. Very welcome attitude, even providing us with English menus (although we tried to stick to the French ones), good food served in ample quantity, and unbeatable price. A very pleasant experience.
Amazing brunch. I went tow weekends in a row because it’s really worth it. I recommend to go from 12a.m because it’s always fully book. You might wait an hour or so if you go at 10:30. However, you can go around Montmartre while waiting and they will call you when your table is ready.
Food was very good and service was very prompt even though it was quite busy during dinner time.
We did not like it.Maybe because it was a bank holiday and Friday night but this place was not great. The food ( sausage and burgers) was average and the atmosphere worse. Packed with rough locals. Screaming kids everywhere, totally unsupervised. Climbing on the furniture, kicking me and our table. Smokers allowed outside the door and the door propped open by staff. So not only was our meal and conversation suffocated by smoke, the food was covered in flies coming in the open door. I would never return.
Was kind of blown away by this place. We stopped by randomly for a coffee to meet with friends but ended up also getting fresh juice and cafe gourmand. Everything was excellent. The service was good, and the Christmas decorations were charming. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
Fate steered us to this warm, friendly restaurant. All of Morteau centre was closed and La Bousse was our last refuge! That was very lucky, because even though they really couldn't accommodate us due to a very busy evening, they let us in anyway, our dinner arrived quickly and was delicious and the staff and La Bousse herself were delightfully friendly. We recommend this place, just try it!
Thanks for seating us in your cosy bar restaurant while it was already fully booked and busy. We really enjoyed the food and service. La Bousse really is the boss when it comes to great atmosphere and good food!
Very good Pastries, Coffee and Tea in the Montmarte area. Loved the attitude, vibe, seating areas inside and outside.
A must go!!
